I'm using Vapi with a Twilio toll-free number to run a voice agent. Everything was working perfectly for outbound calls via the Vapi API, but now I’m suddenly getting this error: "Twilio connection failed" on every outbound call. Here’s what I’ve already confirmed: ✅ Twilio webhook URLs are correct: /inbound_call and /status are both pointing to https://api.vapi.ai/... ✅ My Twilio credentials in Vapi are correct. ✅ Twilio Debugger shows no errors. ✅ Incoming calls to the Twilio number work. ✅ Toll-free SMS verification is in progress (but this shouldn't affect voice). ❌ All outbound calls via Vapi fail — even to test numbers. Question: Has anyone experienced this issue after everything was working? Could it be related to the Twilio number (toll-free), or is something failing silently between Vapi and Twilio? Any help would be hugely appreciated — this is urgent.
