Set firstMessageMode to "assistant-greets-immediately" and ensure assistant.model.provider is "hume" with "octave" voice to trigger Hume TTS correctly.. Let me know if you have any other questions. We've got all the settings set up correctly. Hume simply isn't working.

Is it because you need to add Hume API keys? I am guessing so, but I don't see a way to do that on my account

- I've tried that and it doesn't work. asking any messages after it's supposed to greet also isn't generating a voice from Hume. I'm also using the web thing so I know it's setup correctly - I've tried with and without Hume keys and it doesn't work.

Any solutions?

Use a built-in voice to test, add a fallback voice, if issue persist share call_id

I have the setting "assistant speaks first" set, and with Hume the assistant doesn't speak first.
