I have created a voice bot using VAPI AI that initially handled incoming calls through Twilio. However, since Twilio does not provide Indian phone numbers, I sought a local solution and found a provider called TeleCMI. TeleCMI offers a platform named Piopiy, which supports connecting calls for Indian numbers. They informed me that the integration and call connection with Piopiy can only be achieved through WebSocket technology, enabling real-time streaming and interaction with the voice bot. This approach ensures seamless handling of calls within India while leveraging the capabilities of my voice bot.

We have our own infrastructure in India, so you can connect any local SIP telephony provider to us, and we'll connect you to VAPI

Did they provide you with SIP credentials ?

it takes them a bit of time, but we have several customers using Plivo in India
