Hello, I have an issue - I want to retrieve information from knowledge base by using query function. I'm using gemini 1.5 flash or 2.0 flash lite to do it. I have prompted in the instructions that if the user wants to get information about xyz then always use the tool zyx. And the assistant uses the tool correctly, but after using the tool it doesn't give me an answer. I need to ask him again and then it answers correctly based on the info retrieved earlier. Update: The issue only occurs when I'm trying to set up either tool start message, tool complete message or both at once. Once the messages are deleted - it works correctly

Thanks @Krisztian, I've also noticed that. It still would be nice to have some start request message cause even though gemini flash lite is fast, it still gives some latency, which should have been filled with start request message 😄

I see what you mean, the start message is useful as a filler, but the complete message adds no value if the assistant doesn’t answer right after. I can help you adjust the setup so the assistant automatically gives the response from the query tool immediately after it completes, while still keeping the start message. Yeah when there is no message it is working correctly. The issue is with the latency of this tool. When the tool is used there is silence which is annoying. Is it possible to fix the issue with the start message?
