I want to use VAPI but can’t find any provider offering an Indian number without issues.

Unfortunately, Vapi does not currently support Indian phone numbers due to TRAI regulations, which require SIP termination via an Indian server—a feature Vapi does not offer at this time. They will be able to help with the number, and then you can read this guide about integrating it. Note: This guide uses the Twilio SIP trunk as an example, but the procedure is pretty much the same for other telephony providers as well.
