They removed it from the UI a few weeks ago. I don’t why as it used to be the first thing in the assistant screen. Unfortunately, now the only way to set your assistant to a workflow is by using the API. It is really easy to do though. Grab Postman and your api key from VAPI. Chat GPT can walk you through the steps. tip: use GET on your assistant ID your trying to modify, then just copy the response. You’ll need to remove the ID, createdAt, and modifiedAt lines from the json. Then just add in your workflow_id: { "assistant": { "name": "My Assistant", "description": "Assistant linked to workflow", "workflow_id": "workflow_12345" } } It’s lame they took it out of the UI, not sure why they did that. I k ow you can point phone numbers directly to workflows but they are still a long way off from allowing workflows all the functionality that assistants have, like the messaging service and some other key settings like background a voice silent timeouts to name a few.
