I obtained a number from twilio, but when i try to import it i got this error, because i think somebody, before, used it, and then sold it in twilio, but not in Vapi, thank you
@User hello, could you please have a look at this? i would not like to purchase other numbers and to be able to use them

Hi mmvora, Based on the search results, if you're getting an error because the number was previously used in Vapi, you'll need to follow these steps: 1. First, make sure you own the number in Twilio 2. When importing to Vapi, you'll need to: - Use the
/phone-numbers/import
endpoint or the dashboard import feature - Provide your Twilio credentials to verify ownership of the number - Configure the number with Vapi services The import process will verify your ownership of the number through your Twilio credentials and properly configure it for use with Vapi. For the fastest resolution, use the Phone Numbers section in the Vapi dashboard to import your Twilio number: 1. Go to the Phone Numbers tab 2. Click "Import" 3. Enter your phone number and Twilio credentials 4. Complete the import process Let us know if this still persist and provide the number and your other details such as ORG ID.

Hello, ok, i'd prefer to give them in direct message, anyway, it will be a good feature that when a number is ''deleted'' from a twilio account, automatically is detached to the org where it was imported, so it's available for others, trhanks

Hi there, About Twilio number imports and management: 1. You can import Twilio numbers to Vapi by: - Going to "Phone Numbers" section - Clicking "Import" - Entering your Twilio credentials and phone number However, you raise a good point about automatic detachment of deleted Twilio numbers. Currently, there isn't documentation indicating that Vapi automatically detaches numbers when they're deleted from Twilio accounts. This would indeed be a useful feature to: - Automatically detect when a number is no longer available in Twilio - Remove it from the Vapi organization - Make it available for other organizations to use
