Muffled Voice

Hi, I am using a Twilio imported number into Vapi, and when the assistant makes outbound calls it sounds very muffled, but when I test the assistant in Vapi the Voice sounds crystal clear. I don't know how to make the voice sound clean and crystal clear. I don't know if these are problems I need to fix in Vapi, or Twilio. Can someone please help me? Also, when my assistant records someone's email and it reads it back to the user to confirm their email address, its says minus one minus 5 when saying numbers. For example, an email address of candice13@gmail.com the voice assistant will say just to confirm, your email address is c a n d i c e minus 1 minus 3 at gmail.com. Can someone please help me with these issues? Thank you for your support!

for the minus part, the llm is structuring the readback as c-a-n-d-i-c-e-1-3@gmail and is for some reason interpretting the -1 and -3 as minus one minus three, add in the prompt to rather than structure it as c-a-n etc as either c... a... n... d... or c, a, n, d, etc. Test different separating formats until you find one that sounds the best for you.

The way I prompt it @chadauh and it works everytime is: Instead of instructing it exactly what to do I suggest it the approach. So instead of being like dots or commas (which work for sure); I use commands/sentences and "prompt" it like oldschool gpt- more like: "When they tell you their email, your goal is to ensure you get every letter correctly. Read out the whole email to the user letter by letter till they confirm that it's correct but do it fast but with a very define syllabal voice and wait till they affirm at the end." Something like that yk

We apologize for the delay in responses lately. We are in process of making some changes to our workflow in how we handle support requests. The good news is that we are starting to get back on track of having a 48 hour response time and we would like to start cleaning up anything old. With that being said, just wanted to check in with you to see if you have made any progress or changes to your project since support has last reached out.
