Hi support, my call logs suddenly stopped appearing on the Vapi dashboard after working normally earlier today. I wanted to check the call recording using the api endpoint (/call/) but, I cannot access the call_id since the Vapi dashboard is unable to show me the call logs for my assistant.

Thank you for reporting this issue. To help us investigate, could you let us know if you made any recent changes to your SIP trunk or webhook configurations before the call logs stopped appearing? I just checked and from what i noticed call logs only show for successful calls. So click on the particular data you want to get the logs for
j

you guys have to allow us to select which version of vapi to use...
when you guys push a new version 1) it is not transparent to me I see something is not working i have no idea if its because a new release or not.
I switched all my org from daily to weekly and now prod is broken I have to keep one on daily to make sure i pick up this kind of issues before you guys push to prod.

Hey @User, this is pretty serious. It's an integral feature and needs immediate attention. The call logs are not updating for failed or successful calls.
j
yeah agree, we also have very upset customers. This is not great engineering practice

They are currently looking into the issue 🙏

Hello all, Our outbound calls were disconnecting about 2 seconds after being answered, while inbound calls were working fine. None of the calls appeared in the Call Logs. We switched from the Weekly to the Daily channel, and everything is working fine now.

Alright.

The call logs for new calls are showing now, thanks! @Shubham Bajaj But just to check is there any way to access the call logs that were not appearing yesterday?
b
my call logs are not working either - this is not great, I cant debug callbacks, for example which is blocking my project and business
I will test again tooday - but also agree we need access to the missing logs
g
Same question here. Lost a lot of logged calls in Oct 12th. Is there a way to get those logs back?

Hello Hello, We sent a batch of 300 contacts to Vapi. For each contact, Vapi returned a call ID. However, only 85 calls were actually processed. The remaining 215 calls were put into a scheduled state but did not proceed further. There are no call logs, call attempts, or failure reasons visible for these calls in the call logs. Could you please help us understand: Why these 215 calls were scheduled but not executed Where scheduled calls can be checked (e.g. schedule logs, queue view, or any other endpoint), as we currently do not see anything related to these calls in the call logs What happens internally to calls that remain in a scheduled state (timeouts, retries, expiry, etc.) Whether there are any internal limits, throttling, or queue constraints that could cause this behavior What needs to be done on our side to reliably process large batches (e.g. 300 contacts) without calls getting stuck without logs We would appreciate any guidance or documentation references on how scheduling and large batch handling works in Vapi.
