When I use VAPI and have the language set on Swedish, I will have good conversation in Swedish, but somehow the numbers are talked in English (example 2026), even though the transcriber is in English. I am using Deepgram Nova 3 for transcribing that supports Swedish too. AI model is either OpenAI 4.1 or Google Gemini 2.5 Pro / flash. Elevenlabs is Eleven Flash 2.5 or Eleven Multilingual v2. All seem to give the same english number voice when all other voice is in Swedish.
