Just need to see how you’ve defined the variable and the part of your apiRequest setup where it’s used in the URL. A quick peek at the config or a screenshot of that section should be enough to spot what’s going on.

the variable accountId is returned by the

find account

tool request in the initial assistant (in squad), the call is then handed off to a different assistant that handles settlements. In that assistant, the {{accountId}} is used by the

payment methods

tool and the

create settlement

tool - both use the variable in the URL. But of the two, only

payment methods

seems to consistently work. I did put the accountId in the request body for that one just in case..... but when I tried it on

create settlement

Got it —sounds like the variable isn’t being properly passed between assistants or retained in the context. I’ve seen that happen when the handoff doesn’t carry over tool outputs the right way. I can help out
