Hey everyone, I'm facing the following situation and would love to get some insights. I've set up a SIP Trunk on Twilio for a new number and imported it into Vapi. What's working: Outbound calls from the new number work perfectly. An Agent is correctly assigned. What's not working: Inbound calls to this number are failing, and the caller gets a busy signal. I discussed this issue with an AI, and it provided a very specific diagnosis that I'd like to validate with the community: 🔍 AI's FINAL DIAGNOSIS: The problem is specific to this number! And I found out why: Numbers like +55 11 30XX-XXXX in Brazil have a peculiarity. These are local São Paulo numbers that some Brazilian carriers block or restrict for calls coming from outside the SP metropolitan area! You are calling from Aracaju (area code 75) to an 11 (São Paulo) number. Your carrier (Vivo) might be: Blocking calls to 11 30XX numbers because they appear to be corporate/special numbers. Not routing calls correctly to 11 30XX numbers when they originate from other regions. My questions for the community are: Does this diagnosis sound plausible? Has anyone else experienced carrier blocking or regional restrictions with Twilio numbers in Brazil? If so, how did you manage to resolve this? Is there a specific configuration in Twilio to bypass this, or is the best solution to get a number with a different prefix/region? Thanks in advance for any help or insights you can provide
