Action Required: Ask your SIP provider to whitelist these Vapi IP addresses for both inbound and outbound traffic:

44.229.228.186/32

This is the most common cause of

403 Forbidden

@Vapi Support Bot my provider told me it's already whitelisted. I have succesfully created sip trunk and imported number but it is still not working. Is there a chance that Vapi doesn't allow import numbers from PLFON?

@Marcello When using BYO, VAPI will permit any phone number to be imported. Most probably, the issue is regulatory, or could be that your setup is just wrong. If you want, please DM me and I'll be happy to review your setup.

Generally speaking, if you use full e.164 numbers, VAPI will accept inbound calls from anywhere, however, your origin side must support media reinvite and asymmetric RTP at some points of the session establishment.
