To help resolve the "update failed" error when creating or updating an API Tool, please gather the following details and share them with support: - Browser & version (e.g., Chrome 120.0) - Operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS) - Steps to reproduce the issue - Console errors (press F12 and copy any errors) - URL where the error occurs Providing this info will help the team diagnose and fix the issue faster. Hi ClearRTeam, It seems there are ongoing issues specifically with saving or updating API request tools. Based on the [API Reference for Tools](https://docs.vapi.ai/api-reference/tools/update), ensure that all required fields are correctly provided when updating or creating tools. If the issue persists, it might be part of a broader problem, as indicated by similar reports. In the meantime, you might want to check the tool configuration and ensure there are no missing attributes or incorrect data that could lead to the failure. As this is a known issue, it may also be beneficial to keep an eye on any updates or patches from the development team addressing this problem.

Giving the number of people facing the same issue, I think I can say that we all filled the required fields, we all checked and re-checked the values, we all tried multiple times.... big question: are you working on fixing this?
c
Hi Aniah, I can confirm that all the details / values have been filled in. This issue occurs even when cloning an existing (working) API request tool. Please can we have an ETA on the fix.
c
Thanks for getting back to us and updating us. We will look into this matter and get back to you.
c
Any updates, it is almost a week since we had last reported the issue. Do you have an ETA on this. It is blocking our dev schedule.

Hey sorry for the delayed response. We can confirm that the tool has been fixed. If you experience any difficulty with it, please let us know.
