The error
call.in-progress.error-providerfault-transport-never-connected
means the call failed to connect due to a provider-side issue (such as telephony service unavailability).
Actionable next step: > Please check the real-time status of your telephony provider and the [Vapi Status Page](https://status.vapi.ai/). If the issue persists, report it to Vapi support with your Call IDs for deeper investigation, as these errors are typically outside your codebase and require provider or platform intervention. For more details, see the [call ended reason documentation](https://docs.vapi.ai/calls/call-ended-reason). Source: - [Call ended reason documentation](https://docs.vapi.ai/calls/call-ended-reason)

Hey Rajesh, this error means the call ended because the provider didn’t connect within the required interval and dropped due to a timeout. This is most likely an issue with your telephony provider. Can you confirm if this issue happens every time or only sometimes?
