Has anyone figured out how to get VAPI as fluent as Retell when calling tools from a mcp server with a dynamic message repeating some facts of the question sending to the MCP server as a filler. I'm trying this for a few days now in VAPI and want to use VAPI for our customers but I can't get it running as fluent as in Retell. LLM : Gemini 3 flash voice: cartesia sonic 3 MCP: 5 tools The logic of getting the right tool running is working. But it is not fluent because every text sent to the TTS is sended after the has it's answer! I would appreciate help really a lot! Regards from Germany Kai
