Vapi legacy Kylie Voice

Vapi team please help 🙏🏽. I’m using the Vapi kylie voice and now that I want to update my agents prompt, it won’t let me save and publish because it doesn’t want me using Kylie’s voice. I need this voice, is there anything one can do to keep this voice for this agent?? I use it for couple agents too but I need to update their prompts

Unfortunately, if the Kylie voice has been restricted as a legacy voice, you will not be able to update your agent's prompt while continuing to use it. Vapi's documentation states that new assistants cannot use legacy voices, and updates to existing agents may be blocked if the voice is deprecated. The recommended action is to switch your agent to one of the currently supported Active Voices (such as Rohan, Elliot, or Savannah) for future updates. If you need to update your agent, select an Active Voice in the Voice tab before saving and publishing your changes ([see Vapi Voices documentation](https://docs.vapi.ai/providers/voice/vapi-voices)). Hi, Thanks for reaching out! This behavior is intentional. The voices you’re referring to are part of a set of legacy voices that Vapi is in the process of phasing out (e.g., Harry, Paige, Spencer, Neha, Cole, Hana, Lily). As part of this transition: • Existing assistants using legacy voices may continue to operate for now • New assistants cannot be created with these voices • Updates to existing assistants (including base prompt updates) are not supported while the assistant is using a legacy voice • These voices will be fully retired in a future update (timeline not yet finalized) Because of this, there isn’t a workaround to continue updating prompts while keeping a legacy voice. To proceed with prompt or configuration changes, the assistant will need to be migrated to a supported (active) voice. You can review the currently supported voices here: [https://docs.vapi.ai/providers/voice/vapi-voices](https://docs.vapi.ai/providers/voice/vapi-voices) We understand this affects client communications and roadmap planning, and we appreciate the feedback.
