If you require GHL urgently, I highly recommend using automation platforms like N8N or Zapier. Which will provide you with webhooks which you can call directly from Vapi and the automation platform will do the GHL integration.

As a workaround, certain GHL tasks can be performed by using GHL's API directly with Private Integration tokens as authorization (https://marketplace.gohighlevel.com/docs/Authorization/PrivateIntegrationsToken) from Vapi's custom tools or apiRequest tools.
For example, to create a calendar event, you can call this endpoint using Vapi's apiRequest tool or custom tool: https://marketplace.gohighlevel.com/docs/ghl/calendars/create-appointment

Totally understand the frustration here.
We’re still working on getting the native GHL integration fully stable, and I don’t want to give you a vague ETA or overpromise something that’s not ready yet.
In the meantime, the most reliable path (and what many teams are successfully using in production) is still:
Make.com / Zapier / n8n + webhooks from Vapi
This gives you full control and works today without the instability you’ve been hitting.
