Hi Vapi Team My name is Zahir, and I’m working on the Carebells project based in Germany. We are currently integrating Vapi tools into our assistant. Frontend (live): https://test.carebells.de/ Backend (development): Currently running on http:// (not HTTPS) We are unable to save a tool configuration when the server URL uses http://. The dashboard appears to reject non-HTTPS endpoints. Since this is blocking our integration, could you please urgently clarify: Does Vapi strictly require HTTPS for all tool endpoints? Is there any workaround for development environments? Are self-signed certificates supported, or must the SSL certificate be publicly trusted? This is time-sensitive for our deployment schedule, so we would greatly appreciate a prompt response. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Zahir Carebells Project

Hi Zahir, Thanks for reaching out. Please try self-signing the server URL and then updating the endpoint. Once the endpoint is served over HTTPS, the platform should accept it. Let us know if you continue to experience any issues after making this change. Best, VAPI Support
