Hi Vapi Support Team, Following up on my ticket about the billing discrepancy from our campaigns on March 2–3, 2026. Your dashboard and pricing UI indicated our agent cost was approximately $0.09/min, which is what we relied on when scaling volume. We ran roughly 18,000 calls and were billed nearly $1,500, which is materially higher than what the displayed rate implies. After reviewing the per-call breakdown, the overage is primarily driven by “Analysis: Structured Output”—in many calls it represents 80%+ of total cost. This is the core issue: Structured Outputs are required/encouraged in the agent builder, yet there is no clear pricing disclosure or warning in the agent configuration flow or pricing page that enabling Structured Outputs adds significant per-call charges on top of the per-minute rate shown. Because these charges were not clearly disclosed where users make the purchasing/configuration decision, we’re requesting: A refund (or billing credit) for “Analysis: Structured Output” charges incurred during our campaigns on March 2 and March 3, 2026; and A written explanation of how the displayed $0.09/min relates to (or excludes) Structured Output / analysis costs so we can accurately forecast spend going forward. We’ve been a high-volume customer for months and have spent thousands with Vapi. We’re not disputing legitimate usage—we’re disputing undisclosed fees that cause actual cost to be several times the advertised rate, especially on short calls.
