If you add your own OpenAI API key in Vapi, the model usage gets billed directly by OpenAI at their normal rates, while Vapi still charges its platform fee for the call infrastructure. So the pricing usually stays similar it’s just that the LLM cost comes from your OpenAI account instead of through Vapi. @StrayBeer
