Question: Hi everyone — I’m building a Voice AI SaaS and would really value feedback on pricing strategy from those experienced with Vapi and voice infrastructure. I’m targeting small to mid-sized businesses and considering this model: Starter ($199/mo): 400–500 minutes, $0.30/min overage Growth ($399/mo): 1,200 minutes, $0.25/min overage Pro ($799/mo): 3,000 minutes, $0.20/min overage My goals are to: Stay competitive while maintaining healthy margins Align pricing with actual Vapi + LLM + telephony costs Make plans attractive for both low and high call volume users Questions: Does this pricing structure feel competitive based on your experience? Are my included minutes vs. overage pricing balanced correctly? What gross margin % should I realistically target at this stage? Would you recommend usage-based pricing instead of tiered plans early on? Any pitfalls you’ve seen with similar SaaS pricing models? Appreciate any insights or lessons learned 🙏
