ElevenLabs API key issues

I generated an unrestricted ElevenLabs key and connected and it was all good; accidentally, I deleted the key and generated a new one, and since then, although it says that sync is completed, my library is empty. Even if I try to add one of my favourite voices manually, it will tell me that the voice is already in the list. And it looks like it uses the default ElevenLabs voices and not the voices from my account/library - credits are not used from my account and at some point in the logs, I'm getting a "Pipeline error eleven labs quota exceeded" error. I'm not sure if it helps, my log id is 019d5435-29be-7551-a57c-42c6c8ea194e. Thank you!

Try re-entering your new ElevenLabs API key in the Vapi Integrations section and ensure your ElevenLabs API subscription is active. Go to Vapi Dashboard → Settings → Integrations, input your new API key under the ElevenLabs section, and click Save to trigger a fresh sync. This should update your voice library—if the issue persists, double-check your ElevenLabs subscription status and API key validity as required by the integration process. Looks like your old key is still cached, so even though the new one “syncs,” it’s not actually pulling your ElevenLabs library, hence the empty voices, fallback defaults, and quota errors. Try fully removing the integration, clearing any stored keys/env vars, then reconnecting with the new key for a clean sync. I’ve handled this before and can help you fix it directly if you want are you using multiple ElevenLabs projects or just one account tied to that key? @Stratorious

Hi, Thank you for your patience while we reviewed the issue. We found that your organization
b0e49277-37af-410c-85e9-8a5af0bf7586
is using a custom ElevenLabs API key (BYOK), and the character quota on that ElevenLabs account has been exceeded. To resolve this, please check your ElevenLabs dashboard for current character usage, and either upgrade the plan if needed or wait for the quota to reset.

Hi Oshi, thank you for your reply. Just to clarify, when you're saying "custom ElevenLabs API key", you're referring to this API key, right? I did that, and I still can't see my voices. I'm also attaching a video of what I'm doing: https://somup.com/cOfirQVcm3a https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1490063618379743272/1491183369206235257/image.png?ex=69d6c43c&is=69d572bc&hm=4c1c4af6ce86ce46a4b83985a455a7c381e1ded8147c702b171835877eddf35b&
