The core problem is that Vapi's Scribe v2 integration doesn't expose the low-level transport controls that platforms like ElevenLabs and Retell give you access to ...... so VAD sensitivity, chunk relay timing, and endpointing behavior are all abstracted away in ways you can't tune. What Scribe needs to perform well (tight buffer control, fast relay) isn't something Vapi's current pipeline accommodates properly.
