Hi, Im facing a similar issue. The earlier agents dont give the first message either.

Hi @Marco i think i figured the issue. Its to do with 11labs credits and plan.
i changed the voice to openai and it worked.. Checked 11labs and that had hit the credit limit

You are facing this issue because you are using the nova-2-conversational model, which only supports two languages: en and en-US. Therefore, I suggest you switch to the nova2 model.

I've tested this on my own Vapi account and it appears to be working. The issue seems to occur only for a few calls, and we can't do anything about it from our side. The problem is on their end.
