Hello, I live in Europe and I purchased a Twilio number from Ireland. I have set up a webhook for inbound calling, but when I tried to add the account SID and auth to Vapi, it didn't accept them. Can you please let me know why this is happening and how I can configure it properly? Thank you.

@Sahil Thanks for the swift response. I have a couple of numbers, the one that I got when creating the Twilio account and the other one I have bought. If I try to add the account Sid and auth for the one I have bought ( meaning, the one in Ireland) then it won't allow me to add those values. Therefore, I couldn't make inbound or outbound calls. If I change it to the US then it does accept those two values.

Could you please exactly share the screenshot of the error you are getting? I feel like you are using the wrong credentials.

Inbound calling works now. Thanks. The next issue I have is, in the middle of the call, the agent will end the call. It will say, transferring the call now and ended. Weird

Vapi issue. It will be fixed within few days

Is it the same with the custom code too? I have been testing it from the dashboard.

Sorry about that, transferring call is definitely not broken (or at least not that I know of). Send

@nikhil it does work now. May I know, where could I get a voice for multilingual support? Such as Swedish or Danish?

I have checked deepgram and talkscriber and I couldn't able to change the language besides English. Each time I change the language, it will automatically change back to English. I have set the voice to 11labs and Azure.

@nikhil I'm having the same problem here since morning... I'm trying to change it to spanish, but it goes back to english "en"

How is the outbound call working? I have set up Twilio and the inbound calls work fine but the outbound calls show it's on the queue but don't receive the call. Is it using the number I have connected from Twilio? How is that working? How long should I have to wait before I receive the call? @nikhil thanks

you can check your twilio account for status on the outbound calls
it's usually instant
