whats the case for using our own voip providers to transfer some call to VAPI?

No, but to have local or regional phone numbers that will increase the Answer Rate, or have custom rates and fees. We are working with a voip provider for 5 years now, and we have custom rates, fees, premium routes, regional phone numbers or caller_Id's , we don't target USA, but the rest of the world so that's important for us.
