There isn't much information about the video recording feature in the docs. What are the added costs? What is the video quality, can it be stored in custom s3 buckets? Is it optimized for streaming? even 2 min recordings take a long time to load on the webpage. how can we optimize this?

@Sangy I'm glad you're interested in the video recording feature of VAPI. Let me address your questions one by one: 1. **Added Costs**: The costs for video recording can vary based on usage such as the length of the recording, resolution, and storage. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, it would be best to check the official pricing page or contact the sales team. 2. **Video Quality**: The video quality typically supports standard resolutions, and in some cases, it can be configured to meet specific requirements. The exact resolutions available should be detailed in the documentation or can be provided by the support team. 3. **Storage in Custom S3 Buckets**: Many services do allow for recordings to be stored in custom S3 buckets. You would usually need to provide your bucket details and configure the appropriate permissions. 4. **Optimization for Streaming**: Video recordings are often optimized for streaming, but the level of optimization can depend on the service. It might support various codecs and streaming protocols to ensure a smooth experience. If you need more detailed information or specific guidance on setting up these features, please ask support for more info on this. They can provide you with step-by-step instructions and any additional support you might need.

@zoratrox360 @Shubham Bajaj not able to ask for help here. please take a look asap. there's very little info about video recordings in your docs.
s
- No added cost - Yes it can be stored in s3 buckets - Can you share the example where it took too long to load video recording?
s
i'll share the video url in DM
@Shubham Bajaj did you get to see the video url I shared?
Streaming longer videos needs a lot of time to buffer
s
yes just saw, do you have other samples as well?
s
@Shubham Bajaj any updates on this? Office hours are generally Wednesday right?
s
can you please share other call id?
s
When are office hours? how will more call ids help beyond what has been shared? its confidential data, so unless required i'd rather not share.e
sent another example in DMs

@Sangy @Shubham Bajaj How do I store the recordings in an S3? Having this issue as well.
s
u just add your s3 bucket URL in provider credentials.. there's not much flexibility beyond folder path etc iirc
b
I did that, but it doesn't save video urls.
Are you running into that? @Sangy
s
@Brian Can you create a support ticket, tag me there, and describe your issue along with the call IDs?
b
I did
