setting up our first assistant, and it keeps inserting a huge volume of 'like' 'um' or other filler words how can we reduce the frequency? cant find anything in help docs and its driving me nuts. thanks!

@biko9864 I'm sorry to hear that the assistant is using too many filler words. To address this issue, you can adjust the settings to reduce the use of such words. While there isn't a specific setting to remove filler words, you can fine-tune the assistant's responses to be more concise and professional, which typically reduces the use of fillers. If you have access to the assistant's configuration or scripting, look for any settings related to speech patterns or verbosity and adjust them accordingly. If the assistant is scriptable, you can modify the script to avoid using filler words. If these options are not available or you're unsure how to proceed, please reach out to support for more detailed guidance on how to customize the assistant's speech patterns.

set backchannelingEnabled to false for your assistant.

I had the same issue. I turned on filler injection to see what it sounded like. Then turned it off, but the AI kept using "um" and "like", even when I add instructions to thee prompt not too. Nothing was working but when I tried turning off "Speaker Boost" it stopped using these words. Maybe there's an issue there
