@Trent™ It seems like you've reached the daily outbound call limit for your current VAPI account. To resolve this issue, you can import your own Twilio account which will allow you to scale your calling capabilities further. You'll need your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token to proceed. If you have these details ready, I can assist you with importing your Twilio account to VAPI. Would you like to proceed with this, and if so, could you provide your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token? Please ensure to keep this information secure and do not share it in an unsecured manner.
You can continue this conversation by mentioning me in the message.

What's the daily limit? @Vapi
v
@Trent™ The daily outbound call limit can vary based on the specific plan or package you have with VAPI. Typically, free or trial accounts have lower limits compared to paid accounts, which offer higher or customizable limits. To find out the exact daily limit that applies to your account, please check the documentation provided by VAPI or contact their support team directly. If you need assistance with upgrading your account or have other questions regarding your limits, I'm here to help!

I purchased my own number thru Vapi though, why am I being limited? @Vapi
v
@Trent™ Purchasing your own number through VAPI allows you to make outbound calls, but there are still usage limits in place to prevent abuse and manage system resources. These limits are part of the service plan you're on with VAPI. Even with your own number, the service plan you've chosen has a set daily outbound call limit. If you need higher limits, you might consider upgrading to a higher-tier plan or importing your own Twilio account, which could offer more flexibility and higher usage limits based on your needs. If you believe you should not be encountering these limits or if there's been an error, I recommend reaching out to VAPI support for a detailed look into your account and to discuss your options for increasing your daily outbound call capacity. Would you like assistance in contacting support or any further information on this?
k
@Vapi @User so essentially, since Vapi limits us your suggesting going to a competitor?
v
@KingBear I apologize for any confusion. My intention is not to direct you to a competitor but to offer a solution within the VAPI ecosystem. VAPI allows you to import your own Twilio account to potentially increase your outbound call limits. This is not moving to a competitor but rather leveraging Twilio's services in conjunction with VAPI's capabilities. If you're experiencing limitations with your current VAPI plan and you need to scale up your operations, importing your Twilio account is a recommended step. This way, you can benefit from the increased capacity and features offered by Twilio while still using VAPI's interface and tools. If you need assistance with importing your Twilio account or if you have any other questions about how to extend your limits with VAPI, please let me know, and I'll be glad to assist you further.

So there is absolutely no reason whatsoever you should buy a number from Vapi
t
There is no documentation about being call limited... this is kind of bullshit to be honest, other competitors do not have this limitation.... I really like this system and would like to keep using it.
s
@Trent™ We have put a limit of 10 outbound calls using Vapi purchased numbers, to make more outbound calls daily you have to use your own twilio number. For Vapi number will do the refund.
This limit is placed on us by Twilio check #1211483332496465962
