SIP Trunking - Telnyx

Is it possible to use my telnyx numbers on vapi without having an enterprise account? I would like to test this with pay-as-you-go before going enterprise. I red on documentation that it could bring my own but it requires a credentialId and there isn’t any provider credential field on vapi dashboard that relates to telnyx or SIP providers.

@Mathias Absolutely, you can bring your own numbers from Telnyx to Vapi, even if you're on a pay-as-you-go plan. While it's true that you need a credentialId to import numbers, this process is typically handled through the Vapi dashboard or API for supported providers like Twilio or Vonage. Since you mentioned that there isn't a specific provider credential field for Telnyx or other SIP providers in the Vapi dashboard, it's possible that you might need to follow a different procedure for importing numbers from providers that are not directly supported. To proceed with importing your Telnyx numbers, I would recommend reaching out to Vapi support to get detailed instructions on how to import numbers from Telnyx, as they can provide you with the necessary steps and information on whether a credentialId is required and how to obtain it. If you need further assistance or have any other questions, please let me know!

Got it. Tagging @User for additional help.

@Mathias did you manage to configure it?
m
No. Looks like custom SIP trunking (bring your own) is not yet released for pay-as-you-go user.
s
@Mathias allow me sometime to get back to you on this.
