Hey, I'm from Brazil, and I'm creating an AI using VAPI for calls, but I'm having trouble understanding the costs for Vonage and Twilio. Do the costs for Vonage and Twilio during the free trial appear on the dashboard under "call logs"? Or is it a cost that doesn't show up in the VAPI and also isn't included in the "cost" section when creating the assistant?

Regarding the costs for Vonage and Twilio, during their free trials, any usage should typically be reflected in your account with the respective provider. You should be able to see the call logs and associated costs within their dashboards. These costs are provider-side and are not included in the VAPI "cost" section when creating the assistant. The VAPI platform itself does not incur per-minute telephony costs for web calls, only for inbound/outbound phone calling. If number is purchased using Vapi then it will show in Vapi Dashboard else it won't show in vapi dashboard. If number purchased from Vonage and Twilio then they will charge you and let you know the cost through their dashboard.

Is there any way to buy Brazilian numbers or call Brazil through VApi?

No you have to either buy it from twilio/vonage or use 3rd party. For 3rd party SIP is used.

Yes it has to be done using API only, so i suggest checking docs once.

I understand, but if I connect the number through the API, will it appear on my Dashboard, or will I always have to take some action through the API to use this number?

The number will appear on the dashboard instead the SIP URI in it's place. The number will be reference or associated with the SIP URI. Now when coming to making calls most of the time you will be using API, but for testing and demo purpose it can be done using dashboard as well post configuring it.
