Currently, I need to detect the voice mail and kick in the vapi assistance. I have enabled the voice mail detection, but for somereason the AI doesn't kick in when it hears the beep. Could you please explain how it works?

i updated my assistance according to your docs. I have a twilio conference call where I invite assistance and the custoemr. If the phone isnot picked up and forwared to the voicemail, there is a beep. My assistance is not able to identify that beep and leave a voicemail. Am i missing something in this setup?

- If Assistant is unable to identify beep then it won't leave a voicemail. - If Assistant is able to identify beep and leaves a voicemail then it's 100% correct. - Now What I have understood is you want to identify voice mail, and then end the call. If correct then simply the set the voicemail message to empty string, and use the above shared docs to identify voicemail and then Vapi will end the call without leaving a voicemail and call end reason won't be including

voicemail

because it doesn't leaves a voicemail.
