Is best practice to provide the Vapi assistant with a very detailed prompt or a shorter prompt and the include the deep detail in a file in the knowledge base? I saw on a thread that the Knowledge Base would no longer be useful from November 2024

@Deonb23 It's generally best to provide the Vapi assistant with a prompt that is clear and concise, and then include more detailed information in the Knowledge Base. This approach allows the assistant to quickly understand the user's intent and then reference the detailed information as needed to provide a more accurate and informative response. Regarding the thread you mentioned about the Knowledge Base no longer being useful from November 2024, I don't have any information on that. Our Knowledge Base is designed to be a valuable resource for voice AI assistants, and there are no plans to discontinue its usefulness. If you have any concerns or need more information on future updates, please ask support for more info on this.

You can include it to your prompt

Hey @Deonb23 KB is usable and you can use it now. Now coming to your question it depends if your prompt contains static data which is required for reference as source or supporting material then keep it in KB file else if used to take decisions then keep it in the prompt.
