Does VAPI use their own self-hosted version of Deepgram, or is it from Deepgram directly? The reason is that I Deepgram, if used directly, have the right to save samples of audio/transcripts for improving models etc, and I need to avoid that (unless VAPI have a different agreement with Deepgram, in which case would be great if you can clarify, thanks)

@JimmyAtron VAPI utilizes Deepgram's services directly. However, regarding the handling of audio and transcripts, VAPI adheres to strict privacy policies to ensure user data is managed appropriately. If you have concerns about data privacy and retention, VAPI can provide detailed information on the specific agreement with Deepgram and how user data is treated. It's important to note that many service providers, including Deepgram, offer options for data handling that can be customized based on the client's needs, including opting out of data retention for model improvement. If you require further clarification or need to ensure that your data is handled according to specific requirements, please ask support for more info on this.

If you can provide specific information that would be helpful. I would like to ensure that our calls are opted out of data retention from Deepgram basically. I'm also trying to get access to the security portal (safe base) from VAPI to help with some related queries).
Hi there, please can I have an update here?
