@Alan kekexiaolan I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with an assistant. To assist you effectively, I'll need some additional information. Could you please provide me with any error messages you're receiving or describe the issue in more detail? This will help me understand the problem better and guide you on how to resolve it. If the assistant ID is not visible on your dashboard but is necessary for troubleshooting, we may need to look into alternative ways to identify your assistant, such as using the name or other related information. If you have any other details that could help us locate the assistant, please share them. If we're unable to resolve the issue here, I may direct you to contact support for further assistance.
You can continue this conversation by mentioning me in the message.

I believe it is due to the transcriber issue when I try to create an assistant with custom transcriber. When I try to list the assistant by calling API, there is an error: pydantic_core._pydantic_core.ValidationError: 3 validation errors for list[Assistant] 0.transcriber.DeepgramTranscriber.provider Input should be 'deepgram' [type=literal_error, input_value='custom-transcriber', input_type=str] For further information visit https://errors.pydantic.dev/2.10/v/literal_error 0.transcriber.GladiaTranscriber.provider Input should be 'gladia' [type=literal_error, input_value='custom-transcriber', input_type=str] For further information visit https://errors.pydantic.dev/2.10/v/literal_error 0.transcriber.TalkscriberTranscriber.provider Input should be 'talkscriber' [type=literal_error, input_value='custom-transcriber', input_type=str] For further information visit https://errors.pydantic.dev/2.10/v/literal_error

@Alan kekexiaolan It seems like there's a validation error with the transcriber configuration for your assistant. The error messages indicate that the
provider
field for the transcriber is expecting specific values ('deepgram', 'gladia', or 'talkscriber'), but it received 'custom-transcriber' instead. To resolve this issue, you'll need to ensure that the
provider
field for the transcriber is set to one of the valid options. If you intended to use a custom transcriber, please note that it might not be supported directly and you may need to use one of the supported transcribers. If you're unsure about how to proceed or if you need assistance in correcting the transcriber configuration, please let me know, and I can guide you through the necessary steps. If this is a persistent issue that you're unable to resolve, I recommend reaching out to support for more detailed assistance.

but I could not get the assistant id, how can I update the new transcriber?
v
@Alan kekexiaolan If you're unable to retrieve the assistant ID due to the error and thus cannot update the transcriber configuration, we'll need to take a different approach to resolve this issue. Since you're experiencing a technical problem that prevents you from accessing the necessary information through the dashboard or API, the best course of action would be to contact VAPI's support team directly. They will have the tools and access required to locate your assistant using alternative information such as your account details, the assistant's name, or other metadata. Please reach out to the support team with a detailed description of the issue, any error messages you've received, and any other relevant information that could help them identify and fix the problem with your assistant. Would you like me to guide you on how to contact support, or is there anything else I can assist you with at this moment?
a
yes guide me on how to contact support
v
@Alan kekexiaolan Certainly! To contact VAPI's support team, you can typically follow these steps: 1. **Support Portal**: Visit the official support portal or help center provided by VAPI. This is often the best starting point for finding contact options or submitting a support ticket. 2. **Email**: Look for a support email address, such as support@vapi.com (please replace "vapi.com" with the actual domain of the VAPI service you are using). You can send a detailed email explaining your issue. 3. **Contact Form**: There may be a contact form on the VAPI website that you can fill out with details of your issue. 4. **Live Chat**: Some services offer live chat support on their website. Look for a chat icon on the bottom corner of the website. 5. **Phone Support**: If VAPI provides phone support, you can call their support number during business hours. 6. **Community Forums**: If VAPI has community forums, you can post your issue there. Other users or support staff may be able to help. 7. **Social Media**: Reach out to VAPI through their social media channels, such as Twitter or Facebook, if they are active there. When contacting support, make sure to provide: - Your account information (such as email or username). - A clear description of the problem. - Any error messages you've received. - Steps you've already taken to try to resolve the issue. Remember to keep any communication respectful and patient, as support teams often handle a large volume of requests. If you need further assistance or have any other questions, feel free to ask.

@Alan kekexiaolan Sorry for the late response. Are you still experiencing this problem? If so, could you send over a loom video so I can take a look and your organization id?
