I know how elastic SIP trunking can be implemented for Twilio and Vonage but I am not quite sure how it works for other cloud telecom providers

@Richard I guess it doesn't. It only provide you solution through Telnyx or Vonage or twilio. and I highly doubt this will work in ME region. I would love to know if it will. The only possible solution is if they can port the number on these above services.

@Shahzad you are right. I probably have to get Letter of Authorization from Etisalat and then start the porting procedure

@Richard What help do you require for it? Can you explain in brief where you're currently blocked at and what you've done till now to integrate your telephony with VAPI?

I just want to be able to integrate my Etisalat number to Vapi

@Richard To use local phone numbers with Vapi, you need to check with your telephony provider if they support SIP trunking. If they do, then I will share the further process to set up SIP trunking using your telephony provider and Vapi
