TTS is not saying "£1,395,000.00" correctly

I have a short list of homes for sale, that I want the AI to be able to return the price on. It finds the homes no problem, but when it tries to read out the price that I've formatted as "£1,395,000.00" it say's something like "one pound three nine five zero zero zero zero zero". How can I get the TTS to say "One million Three Hundred and Ninety Five Thousand pounds". Or should I convert the number to words myself?

@james_apex You can enable the smart formatting feature provided by Deepgram to help with this issue. The smart format option is designed to interpret numbers, dates, and times in a more human-like way when transcribing speech. While it's not perfect and sometimes may misinterpret formats, it is improving and could potentially solve your problem without the need for manual conversion. Would you like me to enable the smart formatting option for you?

@james_apex Great! I'll enable the smart formatting feature for you. This should help the AI to interpret and read out the prices in a more natural-sounding way. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, feel free to reach out again. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
j
@Vapi Can you confirm if this has been enabled? I can't notice a change.

@james_apex Please ask support for more info on this.

It's ok @Shubham Bajaj I've decided not to use the prices in my calls, it's probably easier that way. I'll close this ticket.
