I'm using Make.com to pass through dynamic variables that I use in my Vapi workflow. The AI assistant will ask a few questions, and then will transfer to the business owner's phone number. However, when the business owner picks up I would like a whisper or something played to the business owner so he knows the context of what was discussed between the customer and the agent. I've had a look at this: https://docs.vapi.ai/call-forwarding I've tried defining a tool to achieve this. However, I'm getting confused with updating the assistant with a new transferCalls tool, as I'm wanting to use my existing set-up for Make.com -> Vapi workflow -> Transfer call with a whisper I contacted support by email and they suggested I use a Say node before the Transfer call node. This doesn't work for me, instead it just plays the message to the customer on the call before blind transfer to the business owner. Please help! I appreciate any help here

@Jared - I am having the same issue. It can be done, there is the transfer plan that you can play with to achieve this however the issue I am having is it is simply not saying the message. It just simply tranfers the call without saying anything when they pick up the phone

Vapi doesn’t natively support whisper messages to the recipient during call transfers, so to give the business owner context, you can either call them separately with a Say node before bridging the caller, or send a summary via SMS/email using Make.com before transferring the call.
