Hi, whenever assistance transfers the call, I can hear the message 'I am going to transfer the call'; however, after the prompt, the call gets disconnected transferCall Toll id - 1396d9ae-85f5-4591-9149-7b5ab2af1e34 Fial call ID - 3295e4c6-05ef-450c-a127-754461d207de

To help track down this issue, could you share one or two: - When exactly this happened (the timestamp) - What response you expected to get - What response you actually got instead This would really help us figure out what went wrong!

Hi @Kings_big💫 For timestamp i shared the call ID - call forward expected to my mobile number which is already configured. - i can hear the promt "I am going to transfer the call, but after this Promt call disconncetd.

The call was transferred successfully. Asking to share another call ID so that we can formulate a pattern here

@User this is the latest call ID - a7f3eac4-e357-4e68-851b-10d7f6364255, Success Evaluation - fail Ended Reason - Assistant forwarded call again same behavior, assistance played the prompt "I am going to transfer the call" and after this prompt call get disconnected.

The current VAPI numbers can only transfer to the US or Canada-based numbers, not to the Australian base. That’s why your international call forwarding is not working

@Kings_big💫 i am using telnyx AU SIP and number(Not vapi number ) , however outbond from AI assitance is working fine ? Is there any more configuration required to make call transfer/forward working

To enable call transfer with a Telnyx AU SIP number, ensure SIP REFER is supported by Telnyx, configure the transferCall tool with the correct SIP URI, route inbound calls from Telnyx to Vapi by setting up a SIP trunk pointing to sip.vapi.ai, and register your Telnyx SIP credentials and number in Vapi, assigning them to your assistant..
