I am being told by vapi, that warm transfer is not available with SIP. But when create a tool and choose the destination to be SIP I am able to select the transfer plan to be a warm transfer. Also the reason this came up in the first place is because when transferring, it does not say message or summary to operator. We even tried with non sip .. CAN ANYONE HELP

Vapi UI allows warm transfer setup for SIP, but SIP doesn’t support sending messages or summaries during transfers, use Vapi managed numbers instead to enable full warm transfer features..

@Abe S While what you said is accurate, there are other ways of doing transfers with VAPI, which don't use internal numbers and allow you to get the functionality. You can create smart-transfers using Cloudonix to connect your SIP phone numbers, then initiate transfers via the Cloudonix API that contols the call-flow.
