Hi Guys. I'm trying to do cold calling in Canada with Vapi and Twilio and I can only make out going calls when using a 1-888 number. Do i require a A2P 10DLC in order to use a local area code number to make out going cold calls or is the option just not available?

No, A2P 10DLC is a U.S. requirement for SMS/MMS messaging, not voice calls. If you’re only able to make outbound calls using a 1-888 number, the issue likely lies in number configuration, carrier restrictions, or settings within Twilio or Vapi, not A2P 10DLC.
