I have a use-case where I want to create an inbound call system that collects information from people submitting inquiries, but I ALSO want to have a SMB be able to pick up the call as well?
Is there a way to let the call ring and if no response by a real person then have the agent assistant go through its normal workflow?
Would appreciate the help!

Thanks for your question! Based on the information I have, I don't have details about whether Vapi supports a workflow where an inbound call rings for a real person first and, if unanswered, is then handled by an AI agent. If you have any other questions about Vapi's features or capabilities, feel free to ask!

You'd have to use an SIP Trunk provider to set that option

Yes, Vapi allows you to forward inbound calls to an SMB first, and if unanswered within a set time, the AI assistant automatically takes over using a fallback plan.
