does vapi delete the call logs after a certain days or do they stay in vapi's storage forever?

Vapi stores call logs unless hipaaEnabled is set, in which case they aren’t saved; otherwise, you must manually delete them via the API..

Vapi doesn’t retain call logs by default, so for permanent access, you should store them in your own database..

How long do you keep them in your database before removing them?

currently we don't have any data retention period so like we don't delete any data for now but we might do in the future.

Your new price table shows call retention 7 days for the pay-as-you-go plan. Does this include recordings? It seems not to be active currently as you said.

It is not implemented yet.

@Sahil Your FAQ page says your retention is 30 days for calls, is this not true? https://docs.vapi.ai/assistants/call-recording#how-long-are-recordings-stored

We added this recently and it varies from plan to plan.
