@Shubham Bajaj @Kings_big💫 Hi guys, I read in the changelog that we can now use new GPT 4.1 models in Azure OpenAI such as gpt-4.1-2025-04-14, gpt-4.1-mini-2025-04-14, and gpt-4.1-nano-2025-04-14. I tried updating one of my assistants with the API but cannot find the option for Azure OpenAI, just "openai". Am I missing something here or should I pick the model "gpt-4.1-mini" (see screenshot) and simply save my Azure OpenAI credentials in the console under External Provider Keys? Would it then work or is there some other setting I am missing? Your setup is correct, just keep “openai” as the provider, set the model to gpt-4.1-mini, and make sure your Azure API key and endpoint are saved under Provider Keys.

Deploy the model in Azure with the exact name gpt-4.1-mini, then enter that matching deployment name as the model when saving your Azure credentials in Vapi

@Kings_big💫 The model field is a dropdown. I can only pick one of the options that you can see in my screenshot. There is no way for me to pick gpt-4.1-mini in Vapi unless I am super blind.

Any idea when gpt-4.1-mini will be available through Azure OpenAI? I also can't pick 4o-mini using the Azure OpenAI deployment, which is way cheaper than gpt-4o.
