We are experiencing a critical issue where VAPI has started returning parameter keys in snake_case (e.g., department_id) instead of the camelCase we defined (e.g., departmentId). This change started today, and it was working correctly as camelCase until yesterday. This is not limited to one tool — it affects multiple functions across the platform. We use VAPI in production, and this sudden unannounced change is breaking our application. Please address this immediately. If this was intentional, such a change should have been communicated well in advance. Silent breaking changes are unacceptable in a production environment. Awaiting your urgent response.
