Transfer call not working

Hello. Transfer call doesn’t work. I am using the inbuilt tool in the workflow with all basic settings, but as soon as it gets trigger it just hangs up. In the logs it says unknown error at first, then after some time it says call.in-progress.error-capitals-worker-died. I have been trying for 3 days now without any luck. But I am just using the inbuilt transfer tool with the destination Phone Number, there are no SIP settings to configure?

Latest call ID just tried again now. 3e58a6e2-b755-4eb8-bf61-a2817215c355 I also spoke to an associate who is trying to use Vapi for call transfers and their's is not working either.

Seems to be a platform issue. Im not being able to perform assistant to assistant transfers using the transfer call tool.

You are using warm-transfer-say-summary which is only supported for twilio SIP calls and not web calls. Change it to blind-transfer and it should work.

I’ll try again, but I did at first use blind transfer and it didn’t work either.

I see a tool call to "untitled_tool" which is a custom function, but not a transferCall tool. Is there any reason why you opted for a custom function rather than a transferCall tool?

How do I do that? json code shows as read only ?
I just tried creating a new tool using API and by default it puts sipVerb:refer. I changed it to dial but still not working. I can’t remove it at all.
Why can’t I just use the inbuilt Transfer tool, drag it onto the Workflow and fill in the fields?
I was gonna upgrade to next plan up, but if this is how buggy this platform is I don’t know if it’s worth it? Also we are going back and forth for days here, how do I get proper support instead of a few words reply?

Hey Andrej, are you using a different routing system besides the US routing from Twilio?

Yes I am using Twilio Australian routing mate.
But even if I use Twilio SIP using US routing, still doesn't work.

Call forwarding works just fine in Synthflow, I just tested it. If I can’t get this fixed in Vapi ASAP I will have to move too.

I posted this on 8th of June and there is still no resolution. Not even using basic phone number forwarding with blind transfer. Does this call forwarding feature actually works or it's something thats still in dev at VAPI?
