GHLCalendar timezone
# support

For online business a lot of times contacts/leads are in different timezone, not only in one. But when I set a calendar in CheckAvailabilities tool, for example, I need to set a default timezone for all the contacts that will be called or call that assistant. There is a way to import GHL contact timezone ? Since there is an official integration it should be the first thing to avoid mistakes

Hey! To help track down this issue, could you share: - The call ID - When exactly this happened (the timestamp) - What response you expected to get - What response you actually got instead This would really help us figure out what went wrong!

It’s not something specific with a call it’s a question for the setup
How to set the “now” date and time based on GHL contact timezone instead of “tool timezone”

Looking Into It.
You want each contact's timezone to automatically flow from GHL into VAPI, so when someone calls in, the availability checking happens in their timezone. The Best Approach: Dynamic Assistant Configuration Instead of fighting with static tool settings, let VAPI ask your server "hey, who's calling?" and get back a customized assistant for that specific contact. When someone calls, your system checks their number against GHL to grab their timezone, then sends back an assistant with their timezone baked into the CheckAvailabilities tool.
Let me know if you require further help with this.

Got it I’ll try this way thanks! Since there is already the official VAPI GHL integration would be nice to have a selector like “check and book in subaccount timezone or contact timezone”. As we perform the action inside GHL workflows. Something that should be very difficult to implement but speed up a lot and become more user friendly for GHL users
