Companies really react well to squads because it mimic how traditional communications happens right now with different departments etc. However, when transfering from one assistant to another there is not latency or ring tone which give a weird experience. It would be cool if we could add a mp3 file to the squad member that will execute before the transfer is done

To improve the experience when transferring between assistants in Vapi Squads, you can play a short MP3 (like a ring tone) just before the transfer by embedding it in the assistantDestinations.message field..

In the Squad, conversation history is automatically passed to the next assistant during a transfer, so they receive full context without needing manual setup..
