08/02/2025, 3:56 PMI’m using the Query Tool and, even after following every tutorial in the documentation, it still doesn’t work—while the tool is invoked at the right time, it never receives real data and just invents responses.
Someone can help me? It must be super easy but is not working at all!

08/03/2025, 10:41 AMEven though the Query Tool is triggered correctly, it likely fails because your knowledge base isn’t properly linked, the tool lacks a valid file or description, you’re testing in chat mode (where it’s not yet fully supported), or your assistant prompt/tool messages don’t instruct the AI to use the returned result..

08/18/2025, 7:46 PMBeen using the query tool for knowledge retrieval and most of the time or all the time, the responses are incorrect. I am using docx and PDF both in very structured format for retrieval.

08/20/2025, 6:46 PMMake sure to use a text-searchable PDF and a plain text file for better results. DOCX usually has some strange formatting that can disrupt the query tools performance and regular PDFs won't work as well since the LLM is looking for text. Let us know if you would like us to troubleshoot your files or your call ids for performance optimization
